Abacus Care Solutions is Domiciliary Care Agency based in Bournemouth and works with BCP Council and Dorset Council

Key Responsibilities:

Working alongside our Manager and Director
To represent the company in a professional manner on the telephone, face to face or in written communication.
To liaise and maintain positive working relationships with clients and care staff, (this will include regular care reviews, staff spot checks and supervisions).
To assist and formulate new packages of care.
To coordinate the team of care workers by updating and managing their daily work schedules.
Providing written reports of all complaints, accidents, and incidents following company policies
Liaising with GP practices, district nurses, social workers, and other professionals to ensure a high standard of care
To ensure that all visits are covered.
To manage all out of hours emergency calls from our clients and staff when on call.
Processing of recruitment including adverts, offers, referencing, etc
To maintain accurate and timely records.
A minimum of 12 months experience in staff management / team leading, preferably within the health and social care sector.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Great organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload.
Ability to change and adapt, respond to changing circumstances.
Ability to solve problems under pressure.
Ability to display empathy and understanding.
Full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
