As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, working closely with our Practice Manager and contributing to the firm's success.
What We Would Expect From You:
- Conducting standard administrative tasks including file opening, scanning, and filing of documents.
- Providing efficient administrative support to facilitate the firm's operations.
- Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks, including updating social media and the website.
- Managing office duties such as answering calls, diary management, and booking meeting rooms.
Your Main Responsibilities Would Be:
- Ensuring compliance with all required procedures when opening new files.
- Undertaking ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned by the Practice Manager or Joint Managing Partners.
- Answering calls, dealing with queries, and providing assistance to consultants.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous image of the firm at all times.
- Assisting in social media posting and website updates.
- Booking meeting rooms, greeting clients, and preparing refreshments.
- Keeping the office clean, tidy, and in compliance with policies.
It Is Essential That You Have Experience In
- Educated to GCSE level with Maths and English at Grade C or above.
- Experience working in an office environment.
- Good communication skills with a problemsolving approach.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and knowledge of compliance practices.
What Would Be Desirable:
- Degree in Law.
- Previous experience in a legal environment in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in abilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office, social media, and website management.
