Stock Control Manager
Kettering
Hour - Full time 40 hours
Salary - £32,000 - £35,000 DOE
Our client based in Kettering is recruiting a Stock Control Manager on a permanent basis to be responsible for all stock within the company across 2 sites as well as in off-site locations.
You will also be customer facing with responsibility for customerqueries and stock investigations whilst managing a stock team to ensure daily checks are completed across the sites, and that the accuracy and integrity of all stock is accurate at all times.
Key tasks & Responsibilities- Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures at all times.
- Responsible for driving good standards of work and quality processes are implemented.
- In conjunction with the Transport Team, ensure that delivery processes are adhered to
- Work with the wider management team to identify errors, eliminate root cause and assist with implementing processes to resolve issues and improve quality
- Work with the wider management team to implement systems and working practices and warehouse management systems in line with best practice and continuous improvement
- Monitor stock levels, both on and off site, in order to highlight minimum and excess levels to prevent part shortages
- Onboarding new customers
- Resolving customer stock queries efficiently
- Set up and maintain customer SKUs and reporting functions
- Produce stock reports for the company group, and capacity reporting as required
- Lead weekly PI and cycle counts
- Monitor Goods In
- Ensure stock rotation is completed by the warehouse team
- Support with projects
- Develop the WMS system and assist with new software and systems across the business
- Liaise with finance to ensure invoicing across sites is delivered efficiently
- Provide system admin support and training, software testing etc
- Support with training
- H&S, Personal Development Plans etc
- A strong communicator at all levels
