£27,000 - £32,000 per annum**We are
_Mantra Learning_,** the UK's leading Logistics learning and development organisation. Mantra has supported the skills needs of the logistics sector for over 54 years and is an Ofsted rated grade 2 independent training provider. The Manchester site is well established as the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK.


Our organisation provides training for people at all levels, from supporting individuals to gain work to developing senior managers, mainly through our two key brands of The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy and utilising several different types of government funding that we have successfully secured.

We also strive to improve learners' life prosects by offering programmes such as mental health and wellbeing, digital skills, English and Maths, thousands of learners each year to gain new skills by proving progression opportunities.

We have an exciting opportunity for an
E-Learning Solutions Specialist to join our team based at the Middleton offices, Greater Manchester.


The Role


The role of the E-Learning Solutions Specialist is multifaceted, encompassing several important responsibilities related to supporting e-learning content development, system support, and training.


Key areas of focus:

E-Learning Content Development Support: Playing a vital role in assisting with e-learning content development. This includes collaborative working across people and departments to ensure that the learning materials are effectively integrated into the learning management systems (LMS). Assist with tasks such as uploading course content, organizing modules and resources, setting up assessments and quizzes, and ensuring that the content aligns with the instructional objectives as well as learning outcomes.

System Support:
R
esponsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of the learning management system (LMS).

Configuring and customising the LMS based on the organisation's specific requirements, ensuring that it is user-friendly and accessible to learners and instructors.

Handling user management, including creating user accounts, assigning appropriate permissions, and troubleshooting any issues related to user access or functionality.

Additionally, providing technical support to both learners and instructors, addressing any technical challenges or inquiries that arise during the use of the LMS.

Training and User Support: Playing a crucial role in providing training and support to users of the LMS. Conducting training sessions or workshops to familiarize instructors and learners with the features and functionalities of the system. This may involve creating training materials, delivering training sessions, and providing ongoing support through documentation, FAQs, or direct assistance. Serving as a point of contact for users, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the LMS, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a positive user experience.


Skills/Knowledge/Behaviours/Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in LMS administration and learning technologies.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve systemrelated issues.
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional IT developer skills.
  • Knowledge of elearning standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and data privacy principles.
  • Experience in developing online learning resources.
  • Experience/ability in researching and introducing innovative digital tools to embed in learning.
  • Project management experience (desirable).

The package

  • This position is a fulltime role, working 37.5 hours a week based at our Middleton facility.
- £27,000 to £32,000 per annum dependant on experience and qualifications.
