Overview:
European Heathyards are industrial leaders in high integrity fabrication, welding & tube manipulation.
Established in 1974 and based in the West Midlands (UK), European Heathyards maintains a wealth of knowledge and experience manufacturing for the following industries: Power generation, petrochemical, oil & gas, process plant, environmental & nuclear.
We have 5 purpose-built manufacturing workshops that cover around 60,000 sq ft, of which 10,000 sq ft is a dedicated clean conditions area.
Each shop is equipped with overhead cranes ranging from 5 tonne to 100 tonne lifting capacity.We are accredited to ISO 9001, 14001 & We also hold BS EN 1090 pt. 2 (execution of steel structures) & hold an array of ASME stamps that include U,S,PP & R.
We have also recently been recognised as fit for nuclear, an in-depth programme that identifies whether a company has the right procedures, personnel & skills for the UK's civil nuclear programme.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers in the assembly process
- Ensure that production targets and quality standards are met
- Train and mentor new employees on proper assembly techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency
Must Have:
- Fabrication & Welding Bias
- Being able to read & interpret engineering drawings.
- Good man management
- Working off own initiative
Role & Responsibilities:
- Controlling and allocating resources (responsible for around 10/16 personnel)
- Assist in control of consumables.
- Advice and Control of tooling / jigs & fixtures
- Represent specialist field.
- Setting up and maintaining production targets / dates.
- Assist in Data / Time recording of hours.
- Maintain general cleanliness of areas.
- Liaise with QA / Contracts on welding methods.
- Planning, assigning, and directing production work.
- Maintaining organization and discipline.
- Appraising staff performance.
- Monitoring health & safety in the workplace.
- Issuing work / jobs packages.
- Promote and monitor quality awareness.
- Promote teamwork and communication.
- Assist the site services department.
- Assist in maintaining security of the building and contents.
- Assist in training new starters / apprentices.
Pay:
Up to £43,000.00 per year
