Accounts Payable Assistant

3 months temporary role - start ASAP - £ per hour plus holiday pay - Putney/Roehampton

Working for this sports organisation, you will enjoy

The offices are based in a wonderful setting and you will work as part of a busy but highly successful finance team.

The organisation was established over 100 years ago to ensure the long-term growth and sustainability of the sport.

This role will work alongside one accounts payable assistant to assist processing invoices received by the business, making payments and dealing with payment queries.

Invoice processingProcess invoices for payment efficiently and accurately.

Uploading invoices to Microsoft Dynamics GP system (c per week)

PaymentsGenerating payment runs we pay five currencies for two companies. This role will likely generate payment run for our GBP expenditure

Ensure payments are processed promptly with a high degree of accuracy

Supplier statements and maintenanceAdd new suppliers to the finance system

Maintain list of suppliers
Perform and review supplier statements and reconciliation

Deal promptly with ad hoc queries from departments
Pro-actively identify opportunities for improvement over current processes and procedures
Open and distribute department post

Looking for someone who has previous accounts experience in Accounts Payable and has strong attention to detail and can start as soon as possible.

Salary:
£15.00-£16.50 per hour
