Connexions Advisor, 18.5 hpw

£29,439 - £32,020 pa pro rata Career Grade

Temporary contract until 31 March 2024 required to cover Maternity leave

You will be responsible for providing information, advice and guidance to young people aged up to the age of 25 if they have a Disability or Learning Difficulty) who are identified as NEET or at risk or NEET.

You will provide tailored support and interventions and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to make a significant difference to the lives of young people within South Tyneside.

You will also be responsible for monitoring young people and tracking their education, employment and training activity in line with statutory guidance.

South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
