Description

Communicate with a range of people on a range of matters.
Monitor and maintain Health, Safety and Security.
Maintain quality in own work and encourage others to do so. Support equality and value diversities.

Monitor and maintain environments, buildings and itemsPerform duties within the department in accordance with agreed operational policiesAssist medical, nursing and ancillary staff as required including:
Assisting in the movement of patients in the operating department.
Transportation of patients to and from theatre.
Assisting with theatre table attachments.
Assisting in stock rotation in sterile stores.

Cleaning and maintaining of all floor areas, including use of industrial suction cleaners, scrubbing and polishing machines, including mops and buckets.

Ensuring departmental equipment and furniture is damp dusted regularly and always ready for use. Keeping rooms clean and tidy.
To act as messenger throughout the department.
Delivering of pharmacy box and specimens to relevant departments.
Distribution of dirty and clean laundry.
Checking and changing of oxygen cylinders.
Contribute to the development of services.
