Description

This is a newly created Group Financial Controller position within an internationally operating business.

As Group Financial Controller this role will have business as usual components in addition to finance change and projects including:

Ownership of the month end close and consolidated management accounts with analysis
Ownership of year end group statutory reporting and audit management
Ownership of direct and indirect taxation
Cash flow management and reporting
Ownership of the payroll function
Be a key player in the migration from multiple systems to 1 ERP in 202
Drive the reduction in month end close and board reporting
Drive processes and controls across the group
Drive the development and hiring of finance staff as required
Drive the quality of data flows and hence ability to improve quality of reporting

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with experience of running a financial control team with demonstrable experience of driving positive changes to processes, controls and systems.

You will have experience of operating in multi entity and currency businesses and be experienced in leading finance teams.
