SupportED Recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is abale to help a Yr 6 student with 1:1 support in a York Based primary school.

You will need to have had experience working and supporting primary aged children for this role.

In the role your duties will include:

• Helping the child engage with their education, by helping to create an engaging learning environment.
• Supporting a pupil on a onetoone basis
• Providing social and emotional support
• Monitoring pupil progress
• Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
• Generating resources
• Dealing with challenging behaviour

Requirements?

• Must have experience working and supporting primary aged children
• Two references ideally from educational establishments
• A valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one through SupportED Recruitment
