Overview


To provide professional and effective administrative support to the wider HR team and business, administering the HR process across the employment life cycle; maintaining efficient systems and processes accurately, whilst providing support to the team andManagers as required, and contributing to HR function achieving KPI's.


Role and Responsibility

  • Take collective responsibility as a HR Coordinator for managing the HR Enquiries inbox. Also ensure all incoming post is collected, opened, date stamped and distributed in a timely manner each day.
  • Update the HR system with any changes of contract of employment
  • Process Statutory leave
  • Process all leaver information ensuring the HR system is updated in a timely fashion and ensuring that overpayments do not occur, and that employees receive written notification of termination.
  • Process all new starter information, ensuring the HR system is updated and the employee receives written confirmation of their start date and necessary new starter forms within our guidelines and ensuring legal requirements are met.
  • Prepare and work to Service Level Agreement standards, ensuring work is completed to the right standard within set deadlines.
  • Support the sickness absence process in line with the Attendance Management Policy, coaching line managers where necessary.
  • Produce and maintain accurate electronic HR records in compliance with our policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that information on employees is kept up to date and stored accurately either within the HR system or filed in the employee personnel file.
  • Provide cover for colleagues to assist with holidays, absence and variable workflows.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • HR experience in a busy HR administrative position.
  • Possess a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience of using an HR Database and standard I.T. packages.
