About the role:

They are now looking for a
DevOps Engineer to join their accomplished team.

This role pays up to
£55K and offers
flexible hybrid working (offices based in London and Croydon), plus awesome benefits like a Civil Service pension


About the team:


Home Office Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) designs, builds and develops services for the rest of the department and for government.


Their tech strategy is also clear: working in agile, product- and user-centred teams, with cloud-native and interdisciplinary working as the focus.


What you will be doing:


  • Writing configuration or scripts to deliver/work with various platforms
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Collaborating with developers on how they should use existing systems and configure CI/CD pipelines
  • Providing technical support, solving more challenging configuration issues such as automated monitoring and alerting solutions

Requirements:


  • Solid experience of Cloud Architecture and Services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with working in an agile way following DevOps principles
  • Knowledge of tools like Terraform, Docker and Git are a plus
