Biocair has locations in the UK in Cambridge, Heathrow and Warrington and this role will also support our office in Singapore.

This role is instrumental in delivering our people strategy and partnering with the business teams to deliver company objectives as well as being the trusted advisor, consultant and expert on local employment legislation and practice.


In this role:


You will report to the Senior People Business Partner, EMEA and partnering with the local Senior Managers, the main purpose of the role is to shape and influence positive people experience through supporting on the delivery of key strategic projects and People operational activities covering the entire employment lifecycle.


This role will be a trusted partner and consultant, demonstrating understanding of the functional and business realities, addressing complex people-related challenges, providing ideas, insights, flexible and innovative solutions, risk analyses, and challenge, to shape and inform longer term strategic and operational problem-solving.

The role will partner with all people managers to guide and support using and instilling a coaching approach to leadership as well as working hand in hand with the Global People function.


What we would like from you:

  • Support as needed the design and delivery of the people strategy in line with corporate objectives and that enhances employee motivation, development, and performance.
  • Lead the delivery of a full range of operational People activities, providing expert guidance and support and building strong working relationships with managers to ensure they act fairly and consistently to achieve the best outcomes for the business.
  • Drive and support a coaching culture, playing an exemplary role in people management practice and building strong networks within and beyond the company.
  • Support and lead the delivery of local management updates and training on aspects of People Experience such as performance management, salary review, recruitment, any relevant changes to employment law or practice.
  • Proactively ensure all policies, employment legislation and best practices are compliant, updated and aligned with the company values.
  • In collaboration with the wider People Team review, improve and implement People processes that actively support the business.
  • Degree in relevant discipline and/or HR qualification or equivalent experience providing HR business partner support.

This is a UK based role and the right to live and work in the UK will need to be established during the recruitment process.
