The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Casual Childcare Assessor

What You Will Be Doing:

Plan, deliver and assess all elements of relevant Childcare programmes required in the role including completing assessments in placements against workbased competencies
Support and complete recruitment, admission and induction procedures, where appropriate
Take a proactive approach with students, assessments, training and demonstrate skills, knowledge and behaviours in line with the College's expectations
Conduct and action initial assessments and ongoing diagnostics of student needs
Maintain accurate student records and tracking of assessments
Support students in securing placements in order to ensure that both student and employer needs are met
Monitor the progress of students ensuring that appropriate support is provided in order to improve retention and timely achievement
Ensure assessments meet awarding body standards
Establish and maintain good relationships with employer

What We Are Looking For:

GCSE grade C or equivalent qualification in both Maths and English
An assessing qualification
Experience of assessment of Cache qualifications at Level 3
