An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Quality & Safety Support Officer (Band 4) in the Quality, Safety and Improvement Team within the Primary Community and Therapies Services Group.


As a member of a small, busy team you will help to support the Quality, Safety & Improvement Manager with governance arrangements to embed safe systems for patient's receiving care across our wide ranging services.


We are looking for a self-motivated, organised individual flexible in approach, with demonstrable experience in a Governance Framework eg Knowledge of Governance arrangements in Primary and Community setting, & knowledge of "PTR" policy.


  • To undertake the coordination of meetings in respect of PCCTG's Quality & Safety Governance Groups arrangements. Liaising with Service Leads to develop agendas and assisting in the production of relevant reports for inclusion eg risks, complaints, incidents and serious incidents.
  • To undertake the administration of the Patient Experience feedback forms including the recording and storage of compliments. Assisting with incident management on a daily basis. Assisting to maintain an SI log through liaison with the senior staff and the SI Team.
  • Coordinate, arrange and record Group meetings. Production of performance reports themes and trends and SNAP reports.
  • Act as central contact with other Groups and Health Boards in the streamlining of the SI reporting process. Including the coordination necessary to follow up closures in accordance with deadlines as required by WG.
  • To provide a comprehensive admin support and act as Group Datix trainer, including the facilitating and running of workshops.
