Description

IT Support (1st / 2nd line) - ideally commuting distance to Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Leeds, London, Crawley or Cambridge - £2- 30k + £5k car allowance.

Skills/experience

  • 2 years + experience in a similar role is essential, including the provision of desktop support in a Windows environment working to SLA's
  • Experience or knowledge of operating within an IT ticketing system would be beneficial
  • Good operational and technical knowledge and understanding of
    Microsoft Office 365, Windows, Azure, Windows Server, and M365 Exchange packages:
  • Experience of installing, maintaining, commissioning and repair of IT systems, software and hardware.

Role

  • To ensure effective onsite 1st and 2nd Line Support
  • To install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability
  • To maintain the IT fixed asset register
  • Visit and floor walk all national offices
  • To be the first point of escalation from the service desk
  • To train users as required on all hardware and software
  • To perform new system builds, images, upgrades, and repairs for Windowsbased desktops/laptops, iPads, and iPhones
  • To participate in projects involving the configuration, deployment and user training of various hardware/software solutions including both desktop and mobile device software
  • To maintain and manage company data within an D365 environment, including Intune, Azure AD, Power Platform, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • To monitor networking equipment and servers
