Lettings Consultant

Nine Elms, South East London, SE1

Basic salary up to £22,000 per annum, depending upon level of experience

PLUSuncapped commission scheme, OTE circa £50,000 per annum in year 1, depending upon level of experience

Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 6.00pm, Friday, 8:45am to 5:00pm, occasional Saturdays (on a rota basis) 10:00am to 4:00pm

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and customer focused person to work at our highly successful and established Nine Elms branch as a Lettings Consultant, where we can help you become highly successful under the guidance of an accomplishedDirector and supported by our Learning & Development program.

Requirements:


As a Lettings Consultant, your main responsibilities will be to;:

  • Negotiate the lets of residential properties in sufficient quantity to meet agreed performance targets and to generate market appraisals
  • Generate a targeted number of viewings per week
  • Convert viewings to offers
  • Negotiate offers to complete the deals
  • Proven working experience as a Lettings Consultant would be highly advantageous to help you maximise your earnings from the outset, however a solid sales record from another industry would also be beneficial
  • A good understanding of the residential lettings sector, including the local lettings market, key legislation influencing the industry and marketing and sales strategies would be desireable
  • Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
  • Tenacious and resilient with a drive to succeed
  • Pleasant and trustworthy manner
  • MS Office familiarity, and IT literate
