Part Qualified Management Accountant - Fully Remote


Our client, a fast-growing Technology SME are looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to cover a broad range of activities including bank account, sales and purchase ledger and balance sheet reconciliation.

You will have the ability to take ownershipof our accounting processes and make them your own.


There is also the potential for promotion after you are fully qualified, which will have the opportunity to work closely with their clients, with fundraising, financial modelling and forecasting for government grants, loans, tax credits, and equity investment.

This role is fulling remote so you can feel free to work from anywhere in the UK. Starting salary £30k to £35k plus performance bonus of up to £500 per month providing targets are met.

There will also be an uplift in salary after the 3 month probation aswell as a review to increase the monthly bonus.


Your responsibilities are -:


  • Multi currencies bank accounts reconciliation
  • Sales and Purchase Ledger reconciliation
  • Balance Sheet reconciliation
Credit control, including preparing and sending monthly statements, chasing aged debtors, and recording communications accurately

  • Taking ownership of monthly payroll process for employees
  • Ad hoc Data analysis using Excel and google sheet with vlookup / sumif / sumifs / count etc.
  • Corporation Tax Filing for R&D tax credits (CT600 and CT600L)
  • Financial modelling and forecasting for clients
  • Offer feedback on our current processes and suggest process improvements through automation
  • Assist in implementation of new accounting standards
  • Cross functional support on ad hoc projects

Experience Required:


  • Partqualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA / ATT, at least 2 years management accounting experience)
  • Worked in a small finance team and in SME environment before
  • Excellent MS excel and/or google sheets skills
  • Experience in using Xero
  • Familiarity with work management tool like monday is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of R&D tax credits and financial modelling is a plus
  • Good knowledge of P&L / BS / Cash Flow
  • With meticulous attention to detail and you're able to spot errors.
  • Willingness to learn and jump in to help for different projects
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills
