A position has arisen for a Clerical Assistant in our Aberdeen office.Duties will include the following:
- Sales invoicing
- Purchase invoices
- Subcontractors
- Timesheets
- Petty cash
- Answering phones
- Ledger journals
- Balancing VAT
- Reconciliations
- Scanning
- Filing
- Personnel paperwork
- Purchase orders
- Raising new jobs
- Job journals
- Any other administration duties as required
Essential skills for the role:
- Must be capable of producing accurate work whilst multitasking.
- Computer literate with experience in accounting packages, and also have a good understanding of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Hold a HND in business administration or accounts.
- Knowledge and understanding in accountancy will be an advantage.
- Good telephone manner essential.
Within G & A Barnie Group we work with a wide range of bespoke computer packages, full training will be given on all software and procedures.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£22,500.00-£25,500.00 per year
