Description

This is a superb opportunity to join an international brand as Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial). In this varied role you will provide strategic and operational advice within a complex organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Large scale contracts and procurement
Drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements including technology
Working closely with the business to support the delivery of new propositions
Implementing policies and processes to mitigate legal risks
Procuring and coordinating high quality and cost effective external legal advice where appropriate
Helping ensure the businesses name, reputation and legal rights are protected
Helping support more junior team members
Ensuring the business has adequate advanced notice of changes in the law
Proven experience drafting/negotiating complex agreements
The gravitas to support and mentor team members plus deputise for the Head of Team
A broad understanding of commercial law
Outstanding stakeholder management, communication and commercial awareness
A high level of comfort making riskbased decisions
The ability to work autonomously
