Do you want to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment with the opportunity to make a real difference? We are looking for dedicated, hardworking individuals to fill our full time, temporary position as a Recruitment Coordinator here at Pearson.

If your assignment is completed successfully, it is highly likely your assignment will be extended or offered another assignment.

With over 50% of our permanent staff here at our Hellaby offices initially starting out in our temporary positions, there are numerous opportunities to gain valuable experience and find your career path within our company.


Please note - The roles shift time changes after 9 weeks. Initially 8am-4pm changing to either, 6am - 2pm OR 2pm - 10pm for the remaining 7 weeks. Please specify which shift is your preference.

About the position
Pearson employs over 1000 temporary workers for our yearly summer series, these roles consist of many different skill sets. Your job as a recruitment coordinator will be to help the in-house Recruitment team hire those individuals. This is a significant role, as the people we hire are critical in our delivery of exams.

Your role will include, but not limited to:

  • Contacting previous employees and updating records
  • Obtaining references
  • Update Internal databases and IT systems to ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Photocopying and scanning documents
  • Day to day general administration duties

About You

  • Be always aware of confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accurate Data Entry
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Be a team player who can work to individual and shared deadlines.
  • Prior Administrative experience
  • Very good IT proficiency, including Excel.
  • Customer service skills advantageous.

Education & Qualifications

  • Excellent Standard of Written & Spoken English

Compensation
The pay rate is £10.90 per hour (raising to £12ph April 2024) wages will be paid weekly in arrears.


Working Hours

working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm for the first 9 weeks, you will then be required to move to either 6am-2pm or a 2pm-10pm shift for the remainder of your contract (7 weeks). Free onsite parking available.
