Overview


Our well known client based in Kendal is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join their well-established engineering organisation, based in their head office in Kendal, Cumbria.

This is a fixed term contract for maternity cover and will span over 12-15 months. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales you will contribute to the sales administration process daily.


Responsibilities

  • Data entry into our ERP system ensuing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the sales team to ensure data is provided consistently and provide challenge where appropriate.
  • Handling customer requests, enquiries, and complaint escalations.
  • Compile and distribute weekly sales figures.
  • Assist sales manager with commercial data.
  • Responding to invoice queries.

Person Specification


They are looking for a proficient Administrator who possesses the required organisation and customer service skills to interact with internal and external key stakeholders.

You will have previous experience in a similar role working to tight deadlines with a can-do positive attitude.


The Role


This role plays a key part in supporting the success of the sales team to grow the business and promote their brand.


The role has the following key elements:

  • Communication ability to manage customer expectations effectively.
  • Managing Data ensuring data accuracy across all platforms.
  • Relationships maintaining and building relationships with clients and customers. Expectations
  • Represent the company positively and appropriately.
  • Uphold the company's code of conduct.
  • Do not engage in any activity which could be detrimental to the company.

Experience/personal skills

  • Advanced levels of numeracy and literacy (A level, NVQ level 3 and 4 or equivalent).
  • Strong administrative experience will be required for this role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; especially Excel.
  • Working knowledge of relevant ERP systems.
  • High levels of tact & diplomacy in all written and verbal communications.
