Situated in a busy tourist location, we specialize in providing high-quality Mediterranean inspired takeaways to our loyal local customers and residents of the caravan park.

We are committed to delivering excellence in both taste and service.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Catering Assistant.

The Catering Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen and catering operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our culinary offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and frying as directed by the chef.
• Assist in the assembly and packaging of food orders for delivery and takeaway customers.
• Ensure that food presentation meets the established standards of quality and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and prioritise tasks as needed.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
