Teaching Assistant

Engage Education are currently working in partnership with a special educational needs school to support learners with a range of needs including Autism, SEMH and other complex learning needs.

Starting immediately, Engage Education are looking for outstanding SEN Teaching Assistants to work at a school in Leeds on a full time basis with the view to becoming a permanent employee at the school.

Your Role:


  • Supporting a learners with a range of needs
  • Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
  • Providing feedback to teachers and parents
  • You will be assisting pupils with Complex Communication and Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities

What you will need:


  • A range of behaviour management techniques
  • To have worked with learners with a range of needs
  • The ability to engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
  • To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
  • A resilient attitude
