iiPay has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated UK Implementation Consultant who wants to be part of this rapidly expanding business, understanding the client's requirements to develop their UK payrolls and achieve our goal of 'Paying the Planet'.
Our highly motivated and engaged team members are at the heart of our success The implementation team works alongside the project management team to configure and deliver UK payroll implementations for our global client base.
The role also involves working closely with every department within iiPay to ensure the technical requirements are understood and everyone is aligned for an accurate and timely delivery.
The UK Implementation Consultant will master the in-house global reporting tool and the payroll engine we use to process our UK payrolls.
Ideally this position will be based in Cheltenham, UK but we will consider remote working elsewhere in the UK.Key Objectives and Responsibilities

Project Set-up
- Working with the internal project team and our clients, to organise and run kick off meetings, create project plans and deliver implementation packs.
Client and Project Management
- Support project review calls (internal and external), coordinating and delivering on the project streams. Manage any changes to the scope of work and delivery schedule

Payroll Process
- Define and setup the agreed client payroll processes, establishing all the payroll and data needs. You will be processing every 1st live run yourself to ensure every aspect of the payroll is ready for transition to the iiPay UK Operations Team.

HMRC setup
- You will work with the client to ensure iiPay are established as the client agent with HMRC, ensuring we are ready to submit all RTI files and receive any tax code changes by go live.
Payment and Banking Process Definition
- Work with the iiPay payments partner, and the client to agree and setup all payment and banking processes. The most common solution being the setup of the employee and 3rd party BACS payment process.
System set-up and parallel payroll process
- Define, agree and configure all interfaces, reports and systems configurations to successfully deliver the payroll processes. You will be configuring both the iiPay global reporting tool, 'GPMS' as well as the UK payroll engine.

Go-live transition
- Work with the iiPay UK Operations Team and Service Delivery Manager to transition the payroll at go live to our business as usual teams

Sign-off and documentation
- Work with the client to signoff the project and document all the client specific needs and processes.
UK Legislation expert
- Using your extensive experience in UK payroll, you will play a crucial role in developing our every changing product and services we deliver to our clients.
- Ability to demonstrable data coordination skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage time critical tasks and to assign responsibilities to third party organisations
- Experience of using or managing payroll processes and their associated systems,
- Experience of working with UK clients both small and large (FTSE & Fortune 500), demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and gain trust with your client contacts.
- Highly motivated and driven professional individual with proven track record of delivering projects on time with high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Over 3 years UK payroll experience
- CIPP qualification, Foundation Degree in Payroll Management
- Experience of working within a regulated (ISAE 3402 / SSAE 16) service delivery environment
They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, and possess a keen attention to detail.
