Description
This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (London office - 1-2 days a week), 28 days' holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and 11% pension after one year of service.

About the role
We're searching for an outstanding, digitally-minded content lead to represent the Money, Travel and Consumer Rights Team in the Content Experience and Content Discovery Squads.
Key responsibilities include:
You will represent the content team to ensure the development of our content product aligns with the organisation's content strategy and is optimised to maximise results against content KPIs.
Alongside working in the Squads, you will also lead projects within the Money, Travel and Consumer Rights team, from designing training materials and running strategy workshops to helping to improve key content templates.
- Ensure the ongoing improvement, iteration, and optimisation of specified digital content types, working with content and product team colleagues.
- Use a range of insight sources, including user research, business and digital analytics, to identify the needs of our audience and the organisation. Use this to inform squad and content development activities.
- Design and facilitate contentfocused ideation sessions and workshops, both within the squads and the Content division.
- Identify and build strong relationships with stakeholders across largescale and highprofile projects, influencing and collaborating with them to improve content quality and the performance of digital content against agreed KPIs.
- Review and provide content design direction on the work of other squad members, experts from other disciplines, and where needed, content editors and creators.
- Provide handson content design and creation support, including UX writing, as required.
- Manage relationships between the squad, the content teams and other squads to ensure consistency and share good practice.
- Contribute to guidance for content editors and creators, including content principles, user journeys and content formats.
- To contribute to the overarching strategies set by the Heads of Content and Product Managers to implement this effectively in the development of the relevant digital product area.
- Maintain a high level of content design, production and strategy knowledge and expertise, including monitoring competitors and relevant industry developments.
- Monitoring the performance of digital content and audience trends, and commissioning improvements and updates accordingly, as well as new content.
About you
We're looking for someone who can get excited about helping consumers make everyday purchasing decisions to get the best products for their needs.
- Track record of producing or overseeing high quality, high reach content for consumer audiences across digital channels, including the ability to write accurate, clear and logical text for internal and consumer audiences.
- Exceptional understanding of what makes a market leading digital content experience.
- Ability to inspire, organise and set clear direction for others
- Passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for reviews content and able to demonstrate affinity with our consumer audiences
- Excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, and keep a lot of plates spinning in an editorial team that oversees more than 8,000 product reviews and recommendations a year
- A numerate, analytical mind with a sharp eye for detail.
- Excellent insight into consumer needs and desires, driven by a strong understanding of SEO, market intelligence, and data analytics
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and content management systems.
- Affinity and enthusiasm for Which?'s notforprofit mission: campaigning for better consumer outcomes on behalf of all UK consumers.
You'll be brimming with ideas on how to improve and extend the digital content that Which? offers and how we better engage and retain our audiences on , which incorporates both loyal paying subscribers as well as a sizable free-accessing audience.
You'll develop and maintain a high level of editorial expertise, and use this to drive improvements to our content against the organisation's commercial KPIs, not-for-profit mission and editorial processes.
