COMMERCIAL GAS MANAGER, KENT - £60-65K Neg. - 33 DAYS HOL (inc Bank Holidays) - FLEXI WORKING - COMPANY VEHICLE - PENSION


Unique opportunity for a Commercial Gas Manager in Kent to join one of the largest and most prestigious, privately owned Gas companies in the UK.


Duties for the position of Commercial Gas Manager in Kent include managing the Service & Maintenance works and projects with an average value of circa £120k.


Reporting to the Contract Operations Manager, you will review, improve, and develop the systems and processes of the commercial heating department, thereby maximising revenue, and profitability, whilst delivering an excellent service to clients.


You will need a well-rounded understanding of the importance of delivering clients' needs, capturing, and billing all work carried out by the department, minimising costs, and releasing efficiencies by effective logistics and field workforce management.


You will support, mentor, and develop your team, maximising performance by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, creating personal development plans and engendering a positive and collaborative work culture.

  • Management experience of at least 5 years within a similar business in related sectors is essential
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a commercial Engineering or similar business or a commercial heating division within a larger company
  • Other qualifications or experience related to commercial heating is desirable
  • These include BMS (Trend etc.), renewables such as commercial CHP, biomass, ASHP, Solar PV and Solar Thermal
  • A technical background in commercial heating or ACS qualifications would be desirable but not essential
