IT Support Technician - Chesterfield - £28,000

Chase & Holland are excited to be working exclusively with a market leading business based in Chesterfield who are looking for a IT Support Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

As IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for being a point of contact for employees providing effective IT support sitting in between first line support and a infrastructure technical lead, as well as providing general maintenance to IT-related hardwareand software.

IT Support Technician Responsibilities:

Provide 1st and 2nd line technical and desktop support to employees
Manage and respond to tickets using ServiceNow incident management tool
Providing regular updates when required to relevant parties
Staff and Leadership
Perform user administration duties on Active Directory and other platforms
Utilisation of remotecontrol software tools to provide fault resolution and diagnosis
Document and maintain IT Help Desk policies and procedures
Support IT Project Managers in the delivery of key business projects
Work with International technical teams within the group
Providing training/coaching a first line support technician
Collaborate with 3rd party suppliers

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5.00pm (45 mins lunch)

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong background working in a similar technical 1st & 2nd line environment
General hardware support (Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Mobiles, Tablets)
Experience of mobile device management (Intune/KNOX) (Predominantly Android)
Experience of Office365 and Azure within a business environment
Experience of using a VOIP telephony system
Knowledge of Cisco products firewalls, switches and AP's
