- Working with customers to successfully arrange export freight from start to finish
- Taking a handson approach, supporting customers throughout the process and handling queries
- Submitting accurate customs declarations through Cargowise
- Dealing directly with carriers to schedule exports in line with customer timeframes
- Providing quotes and processing invoices
Experience:
- Freight forwarding knowledge, with specific knowledge of airfreight export is essential
- An understanding of import and ocean freight would also be a distinct advantage
- Works within ISO compliance regulations and customs legislations
- Strong communication skills, able to build strong relationships internally and externally with carriers, customers and suppliers
- Proactive and works on own initiative
Working hours and Benefits package:
- Work hours: 8.30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch
- Salary guide: £26,000 £30,000
