Description

Hunters Yard Bookkeeper - Job Summary
A truly exciting opportunity to become the bookkeeper of the unique Hunters Yard at Ludham, Norfolk.

Hunters Yard ("the Yard") was founded in 1932 by Percy Hunter who built a fleet of cabin yachts to be made available for hire on the Norfolk Broads.

After being sold to Norfolk County Council in the 1960's the Yard was then taken over by the Norfolk Heritage Fleet Trust (a registered charity) in 1996 and has remained in charity ownership ever since.

The Yard runs as a not-for-profit charity with the aim to promote the fleet to new generations through both groups (i.e. schools and organisations) and private bookings. Heritage, education and conservation are all key aims of the Yard.
