Description

Adecco has a great opportunity for a Service Controller looking to join a stable company in Peterborough that specialises in the sale and maintenance of industrial and construction machinery.

This role is suitable for a result-oriented individual with strong team focus.

You will be responsible for ensuring correct work practices and procedures and that customer receive high levels of service at all times.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

Assessing job priorities and assigning them accordingly to service team members
Ensuring that work is carried out on schedule
Build strong and positive relationships with customers (and on occasion face to face)
Developing, mentoring, and coaching team members
Liaising with other departments to ensure all parts are ordered and engineers are assigned most efficiently

You must be capable of delivering results under pressure and to strict deadlines.

This role is a good fit for someone with field service engineering experience who would like to move into an office based role and who can motivate their team and make the most efficient use of their team's skills.

Experience within a similar field is essential (construction or automation).

In return for the above responsibilities, you will be offered the below:

Salary of £28,000 per annum
