    Job Title: Equine Centre Technician


    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced equine centre technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of equine husbandry, contributing to the curriculum needs of the Equine department and working alongside a team of dedicated staff.



    Key Responsibilities:


    • Supervise students on practical activities and routine duties ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
    • Carry out regular health checks on horses under your care identifying any potential issues promptly addressing them through preventative measures or veterinary attention as necessary.
    • Conduct risk assessments in accordance with college procedures ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to at all times.  Ensure proper cleaning & maintenance schedules are followed throughout the stables yards & surrounding areas maintain high level presentation
