Machine Operative / Labourer

PLEASE NOTE:

A clean driving license is essential for this role**
The first 4 weeks you will be working 8am-4.30pm but following the completion of training, you must be able to work the following rotating shifts; 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am.


The Best Connection are currently recruiting a
Machine Operative to join one of our clients based in
Hyde on a temp to perm contract.

If you are looking to for a stable ongoing job and would like to join a company who provide opportunities for progression then this is the role for you.


On a day to day basis, your roles will include:

  • General yard duties and keep the area clean
  • Basic machine operating and setting
  • Deliveries to local companies so must have a clean driver's license
  • General warehouse duties and the use of an FLT

To be considered for the role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and strong work history
  • A clean driving license with no points
    (essential):
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team
  • FLT experience will be advantageous

Hours of work are Monday to Friday on rotating shifts:

  • Week 1: 6am
  • 2pm
  • Week 2: 2pm 10pm
  • Week 3: 10pm 6am

First 4 weeks will be on a day shift whilst undertaking training
