The CFCI was established in 2017 with the purpose of delivering world-leading research that can explore, interpret, and promote solutions to important issues such as those of financial and economic crime, financial innovation and economic instability, corporate governance mechanisms, environmental and financial sustainability, etc.

Our moto reads "Eradicate Economic Inequality and Corruption by Celebrating Corporate Integrity and Individual Accountability".

As such, the Centre brings our expertise in finance, economics, accountancy and law together, and provides an appropriate 'hub' to explore the synergetic and inter-disciplinary nature of such research problems.

We aim for our research to have meaningful impact for policy makers and the wider society.


Reporting to the Centre's Executive Director, the post of Assistant Professor (in Law) will lead on a range of research-related activities, which will contribute to CFCI's future success and will contribute to bid writing, working on existing research projects and publishing in academic journals of international standing.

The successful applicant should demonstrate significant research experience in higher education or in relevant organisations and particularly experience in contributing to funded research projects.

Additionally, the successful applicant will support current global higher education programmes which will be inspired by CFCI's current research.
