Description
An opportunity has arisen for an HR & Training Officer to join a market leading SME in Liverpool City Centre.
Due to business growth the need has been identified to add an experienced HR & Training Officer, who will work in a new and fully autonomous role.
- Identifying training and development needs within the company through job analysis, conducting appraisals and regular communication with line managers
- Designing and expanding training and development plans based on the need of the individual and the wider business
- Considering the costs of planned training and working to budgets
- Developing effective induction programmes for new staff, apprentices, and graduate trainees
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of new starters through questionnaires and discussions with the management team
- Devising individual learning plans and monitoring progress
- Producing training materials for inhouse courses
- Liaising with external training providers
- Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met
- Assisting line managers to solve training issues
- Producing accurate job descriptions
- Managing the recruitment process, reviewing CV's and liaising with external recruiters
- Monitoring staff retention and identifying areas for improvement
- Recent experience in a HR or training role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to act with total discretion and maintain confidentiality

Based in centrally located Liverpool City Centre office the HR & Training Officer will form an integral part of the team.
