BestPump Ltd supplies pump & process equipment to hygienic and industrial customers in the foodbev, pharma, chemical and general industry sectors.


From our facility in Coatbridge, we design and fabricate pump skids, process equipment, tanks, vessels, pipework, sanitary-ware and many of the pieces of equipment found in hygienic production plants.


Our customers include leading brands like Kelloggs, Coca-Cola & Unilever - we export to customers located in USA, Canada, Europe and Asia.

Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Workers / Welder Fabricators to join our expanding team.


Typical projects include pump skids, conveyors, pipework, tanks, vessels, trolleys, sinks, sanitary-ware and the fabrication of our internationally exported pump feeding machines.


The Package:


  • Pay scales up to £20.00 per hour (Dependant On Experience).
  • Overtime available.
  • Hours: Mon to Thurs 07:00 16:00 & Fri 07:00 11:00.

  • Mainly workshop based with some scheduled sitework (& occasional emergency responses).

Requirements:


  • You must have stainless steel metal work experience using standard workshop machinery & CNC press brake (we fold, cut, weld and polish).
  • You must be able to TIG & MIG weld and polish to achieve a crevice free finish.
  • You must have the ability to fabricate sanitary pipework, jacketed pipework (purged).
  • You must be able to follow manufacturing drawings.
  • You should be skilled, flexible, focused & efficient.
  • You should have a UK driving licence (preferably clean).

Pay:
£15.00-£20.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 38 per week

Experience:

Stainless Steel Crevice Free Polishing: 3 years (required)

  • TIG welding: 3 years (required)
  • Detailed stainlesssteel metal working or fabricating: 3 years (required)
