Rate of pay:
£20.00p/h (Limited co./Umbrella)

I am working with a key engineering client in West Yorkshire, who specialise in the design, build and supply of bespoke special purpose machinery into the medical, pharmaceutical, and hi-gh-end technology industries.

They are looking for Electrically biased Assembly Fitters for an initial 3 month contract, with the opportunity for that to be extended further workload/project dependant.

You will assist with electrical fitting and assembly activities, working on a day shift (Mon-Fri), with the potential of overtime.

As Electrical Assembly Fitter, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Assemble and fit all aspects electrically to specification

v Ability to read complex engineering drawings/schematics to tight tolerances

v Working on special purpose machinery, automation, and robotics for medical and green energy projects

v Building and connecting panels, wiring, routing, fitting, connectors, sensors etc

v Problem solver, and report any snagging issues to Management regarding builds

v Ensure all paperwork/job cards are filled out correctly and part lists are correct

v Meet project and production deadlines

The successful Electrical Assembly Fitter will need to have the following attributes:
v Ideally apprentice trained (Engineering NVQ Level 3) with an electrical engineering machine build background

v Experience within automation and special purpose machinery ideally or similar

v Good experience with LEAN, 5's and Continuous Improvement principles

v A strong team player

v Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality

v Your own bench/assembly fitting tools
