£32,000 - £35,000 DOE
Hours - Monday to Friday 7am - 4.30pm

Overview:
Our client is a well-established and family run accommodation rental business.
Due to expansion, they are looking to appoint a Production and Workshop Manager to join their small and friendly team.
About the role of Production and Workshop Manager:
The Production & Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations at the Depot are undertaken in a safe, effective & controlled manner.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain constant communication with management, staff and suppliers to ensure proper operations of the organisation
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards
- Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
- Ensure operational activities remain on time and within the defined budget
- Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety rules.
- Improve and sustain housekeeping, perform risk assessments and support with continuous improvement activities
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Lead and develop the operational team.
- Challenge poor behaviour in the right way and provide regular feedback to the team.
- Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional manner.
- Performing HR duties such as recruiting, selecting, scheduling, counselling, and disciplining employees
- Helping the company to promote high morale and communicate the company's operating policies, customer issues and safety measures
- Developing operations policies by evaluating and enforcing policies for products and inventory receipts
- Reviewing and approving operational invoices and forwarding them to payment
- Making sure that all employees fill out the required legal documents
- Processweeklytimesheetsforallhourly paidemployees attheDepot, and justify any overtime to the MD
- Supportwithstockcontrolforbothproducts andconsumableitems.
- Monitoring of all PDI's ensuring the quality standards is met for all outputs and delivered within the required timescales.
- Control of returned products ensuring all damages are captured, reported via the correct process and chargedout the customer.
- Support the Hire Controller, to ensure that all customer complaints, issues, or queries reach a successful conclusion and where necessary, escalate to the wider team
