Midland Conservatories are a manufacturer of high end bespoke windows, doors, orangeries and conservatories. We have an opportunity available for a Joiner to join our team.

• Have previous experience of manufacturing timber windows and doors
• Have familiarity with machines such as:

Cross Cut and Rip Saws, Thicknesser/Planer, Spindle Moulders

• Be able to work to a high standard and at an efficient pace
• Must be able to get along with others and work well as part of a team
• Previous experience working on a CNC machine is advantageous
• Preparation of timber for machining
• Programming and running CNC machine
• Manufacturing of trims, raised & fielded panels, Georgian bars etc
• Setting out of window frames & door frames etc
• Gluing of window and door frames and sashes
• Fitting of Georgian bars and raised & fielded panels to windows and doors
• Preparation of frames ready for spraying (filling and sanding of joints etc)
• Assisting with loading and unloading of vans when necessary

Training will be given for this role.

At times it will be necessary to assist with the assembly of windows and doors (installing ironmongery, fitting opening sashes, glazing etc) ready for dispatch.

A previous experience of this is advantageous.

The working hours are 39.5 per week.
(Monday to Thursday 7AM-3.30PM, Friday 7AM-3PM)

Holidays are 20 days plus bank holidays

Overtime can be available during the week and weekends. Weekend overtime is paid at time and a half.

Hourly rate negotiable dependent upon experience.

Salary:
£12.00-£14.00 per hour
