Crane Operator Group 5 attachment


Location:
Wembley


Start Date:
Saturday, 15th April 2023

End Date:
Sunday, 16th April 2023


Work Hours: 06:00 - 18:00 (12-hour shifts)


Accommodation and evening meal provided for the duration of the project.

Responsibilities:


  • Implement and maintain site safety procedures, ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate control measures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for site safetyrelated issues and provide guidance and support to site personnel.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of site personnel, ensuring they adhere to safety procedures and are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Deliver site safety briefings and inductions to new team members and visitors.
  • Monitor and maintain records of site safety activities, including incident reporting and investigation.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
  • Liaise with management and external agencies regarding site safety matters, as required.

Requirements:


  • Valid Sentinel Card with a COSS competency (PTS/COSS).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or rail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required.
