A well-established small Australian family owned and operated business has commenced operations in the UK. We have been operating in Australia since 1875 and now have manufacturing plants in Brisbane Australia and Colorado USA. In addition to Australia and the USA we also have employees in New Zealand, Singapore, and the Philippines.We are basically a startup operation in the UK with only a single employee at present.
We are now looking to employ our second staff member for the UK, and you would be working alongside the Australian COO of the UK business who has been working with the company for over 18 years.
Our business here in the UK consists of launching a single product to start, along with other potential business opportunities in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with arranging artwork with graphic artists for brochures etc
- Liaise with internal and external contacts in Australia
- Schedule and manage meetings by compiling agendas and taking minutes
- Data entry into the CRM system
- Assist with customer enquiries
- Perform market research
- Complete general administrative tasks
- Create ad hoc social media content on FB, LinkedIn etc
- Book travel, accommodation and assist with logistics
- Perform errands and online ordering

- Ability to retain information, and learn quickly

- Proven and efficient problemsolving skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe etc
- Proven experience as an Admin Assistant or relevant role
- Excellent time management skills
- Proactive and hands on approach
- Organised and ability to prioritise
- Any other duties deemed reasonable for an administrative role
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week
Salary:
£13.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, TW1 3QS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Diploma of Higher Education (required)
Experience:
- clerical/administration: 3 years (required)
