Financial Controller | North Derbyshire | Offering up to £65,000 + Benefits

Due to internal promotion the opportunity is now available for you to support £35m t/o business operation as Financial Controller whilst leading a team of 4.


It will give you exceptional experience to a business which is thriving, therefore you will be involved in plenty of really interesting systems upgrade work, team growth, development of career opportunities for your team.

It will suit someone who wants to progress themselves, but, also progress others.


This is a broad finance role supporting the finance director with management of the finance team, ensuring high performance of team members and prioritising workload so all deadlines are met.

Support finance activities across all aspects of the businessand any internal or external reporting requirements. Ensuring month end duties are performed in line with present timetable and attending month end meetings.

They are in a great position financially due to their product set and they have some big contracts with household names that have maintained strong reoccurring revenue.


The role will predominantly office based with flexibility to start earlier or later if you need to balance home and office commitments.


For this position we are looking for:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience working in an SME
  • Experience of managing & developing a team
  • Proactive, pragmatic, hands on approach, problem solver
