What you'll do:


  • Provide a high quality service delivery and to ensure that appropriate action is taken to rectify any problems.
  • Conduct internal audits on the fleet of coaches to ensure the unit is complying with the required specification as part of the contract with NEL and organise any infringements or repairs to be carried out.
  • Effectively manage service out ensuring vehicles depart their first timing point on time and reporting any shortfalls.
  • Act as a brand ambassador through excellent personal presentation standards and detailed product knowledge. To ensure the site and staff are presented to the highest standards at all times.
  • Manage the vehicle maintenance databases ensuring vehicles are made available for inspections, Lolers, MOTs and general maintenance, Liaising with the Engineering Management.
  • Oversee ticket machine operation ensuring all are being used and all are in working order. Responsible for having any defective machines repaired. Responsible for ensuring all drivers and office staff are aware of how to use the device and prime ready forservice.
  • Fuel and shunt vehicles and the movement of vehicles between various locations as required. 2.9 Maintain and order stock to meet audit requirements.
  • Be responsible for the downloading of vehicle tachographs to ensure compliance inline with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Remove and download CCTV as per management requests and store in secure google drive for viewing.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of all vehicles inside and out.
  • Ensure Alcolock, Guardian, Drivecam,Vehicle Tacho units are functional and within their calibration dates
  • Carry out any reasonable instruction from your line manager which is within your capability and competence.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to create a positive work culture through constant communication, integrity, positive energy and pride.

What you'll need:


  • PCV Licence
  • Experience in EU & Domestic Drivers Hours and regulations
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, late nights and weekends.
  • Undergo First Aid, IOSH and Fire Warden training
  • Good levels of health, stamina and fitness will be required as the environment is fast paced and work will involve standing and/or sitting for long periods of time
  • The ability to work shift patterns including weekends and bank holidays. Occasional working extra hours to meet business demands. Although site based, travel to other sites with occasional overnight stays may be required to fulfil the role.
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent face to face communication skills.
