The role:
As part of a team of 4 credit controllers, your role will combine daily cash administrative duties as well as credit control and administrative support for the credit control team.
As Credit Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising daily with credit controls to code incoming cash receipts, determining client codes to allocate payments
- Reviewing incoming funds and their source (following AML guidelines)
- Posting of coded cash receipts onto customer accounts and invoicing
- Managing your own ledger and sending payment reminders to customers
- Assisting the team on their ledgers where necessary
- Producing monthly electronic pdf statements
- Manipulating data and running monthly reports
- Providing administrative support for the accounts receivable team
- Any other adhoc duties as requested by your line manager
This role is ideal for you if you're a credit controller, who is keen to develop a career in credit control; and has ideally worked within an internal accounts team previously.
As Credit Controller you will have:
- Excellent attention to detail, specifically for data input
- A good understanding of Aged Debtor reports
- Good IT skills including experience using Excel
- Previous experience in an internal accounts team, preferably within professional services
