Help me to maintain my independence.

Hi, my name is Jemma. I have a rare genetic disorder called Friedreich ataxia that causes progressive nervous system damage and movement problems. But I am determined to maintain my independence and won't let this beat me.

I need support from you to help me maintain my independence. I will need some help with personal care as I take a shower every morning. I need someone to support me with this as I need to be hoisted and helped into the shower. Once I have showered I then need support with dressing and drying my hair.

We have a part-time role available, 1 x Support Worker will be required in the mornings Morning hours will be from 9.30am to 11am although these hours are slightly flexible.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday although there will be opportunities to work outside these hours as overtime on occasion.

The hourly rate is £10.90 per hour, and you do not need a driver's licence.
