Sales Associate

Cambridge Head office - Travel and remote working may be required

Salary DOE and will also have commission and stock options.

The role.


An essential part of their ongoing mission to help tackle climate change our niche technology client are looking to add a driven and determined Business development specialist to their sales division.

Focusing on the European market, you will work closely with the Sales Director to further grow the subscription business.


Where will you be joining?


A specialist tech business with a clear mission statement, you will be joining a business who are using their product to assist some of the biggest global brands in their pathway to becoming Net Zero.


What will you be bringing to the role?
Joining this a rapidly scaling technology business you will:

  • Be comfortable working alongside multinational companies to both attract new business as well as deliver high level of service to existing clients.
  • Have experience of Researching businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to service existing clients better.
  • Have experience of networking as well as working on social events for existing customers.
  • Assist the sales team through complete life cycle of the sales process.
  • Be experienced with extracting data from Salesforce for internal reports, that will help guide sales campaigns.
  • Have 23 years business development, consulting, sales support or account management experience.
  • Have a good understanding of the sales and client development process.

Your background.
A proven successful track record within business development, you will display the below traits:

  • A professional methodical approach.
  • A curious thinker, problem solver with a creative edge.
  • Experience using PowerPoint and other MS packages.

Although not business critical you will ideally have:

  • Experience using Salesforce advantageous.
  • Experience in a technology or SaaS environment.
