Step Teachers are a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts; as a part of our ongoing success in building and retaining relationships with many schools and academy trusts in the area we are currently looking for a Reception Class Teacher in Hertford.

Thisis a full time role starting from January 2023 with contract length currently until May.

The role is at a two form entry primary school which, at the most recent OFSTED inspection continued to be rated as 'GOOD'.

The values of the school are centred around exciting children for learning, and nurturing every child to become confident learnerswho are ready for the next stage of their journey.

Role:

Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum
Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
Able to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons
Willingness to comply with the schools' policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
Recent mainstream schoolbased experience teaching in a Primary School
Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
Experience working with SEND is desirable
