Strategic Client Account Manager.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with proven capacity to manage internal and external stakeholders and to ensure an excellent customer and client experience.


You will be a critical senior manager working closely with all functions to ensure the outcomes we deliver consistently meet or exceed all internal and client expectations.


Analytical, objective, structured, and statistically driven, the Strategic Client Account Manager will be integral to the ongoing success and maintenance of the overall contractual relationship.


Your key responsibilities as a Strategic Client Account Manager will include:

  • Strategic senior management of the relationship between the client and PUK cross functional teams, at all levels
  • Tactically leading the delivery of new or enhanced services driven by, and proposed to the client as a result of a skillset that demonstrates a deep understanding of client and commercial requirements and the ability to articulate and assess the viabilityof such deliveries, harnessing
engagement and commitment from all stakeholders

  • Leading the conversation and collaborating closely with the internal and client stakeholders to drive performance and enhanced customer and client service outcomes
  • Leading management of all client interactions including formal and informal Governance meetings
  • Liaising closely with internal Heads of Function and directors, as required, to ensure dynamic, innovative service delivery is achieved to the mutual benefit of both the client and PUK
  • Driving innovation for both the client and the firm, coaching and supporting senior operational managers and Heads of Function to lead, drive, and inspire colleagues to adopt a customer and clientfocused culture in all aspects of their role
  • Prime owner of, and active contributor to Change Management internally and with the client with some P&L responsibility and targets
  • Principal role in identifying and leading on process automation opportunities to eliminate waste, reduce risk, and positively contribute to an improving cost income ratio and overall increase in the client contract contribution to EBITDA growth
  • A central role in identifying client data and analytical requirements and driving development of marketleading management information, and delivery methods
  • Principal accountability for ensuring Regulatory and Compliance obligations is known, understood, and factored into the overall services delivery, takes an active interest in, and remains close to regulatory and corporate developments relevant to the clientas well as to PUK

  • Demonstrable capability to structure and lead meetings effectively

  • Ability to identify, analyse, and develop solutions to current operational and other functional challenges as well as the intellect to anticipate future emerging requirements, offering thought leadership to the discussion
  • Highly motivated, articulate, hardworking, and selfstarting individual who thrives on finding solutions, with the skills, attitude, and drive to make a difference
  • Confident and respectful, but capable and willing to raise positive challenge at all levels of PUK and in the client organisation
  • The ability to move at pace, manage multiple issues simultaneously, and thrive on challenging client and inhouse environments
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of regulatory requirements and the impact these have on our client
  • Awareness of the changes and development in regulation and legislation and the impact these have on the business
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • The ability to build strong positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Identify and maximise revenue generating opportunities by skilful upselling of new and innovative services to clients
