Production Shift Operator Job Purpose
- Supporting the Production Shift Supervisor in a dedicated facility specialising in manufacture of the Frugal bottle
- The role of the Production Shift Operator include materials preparation, materials preprocessing, materials loading into the production machine, quality assessment and loading and preparation for distribution, as well as some liaison with other business departments
- Any other duties that are deemed appropriate from time to time as directed by your line manager
- Support other areas of the business as and when it is required to do so
- Work to personal and company targets agreed by your manager
Production Shift Operator Job Duties
- Take direction and guidance as to work priorities from the Production Shift Supervisor
- Compile output, wastage and performance metrics based on machine output
- Liaise with previous/following Shifts to understand production status and confirm work plans
- Spend a significant amount of time operating the machine to support the output targets
- Ensure the working area and practices adhere to environment, health, and safety requirements
- Support the performance of the Production area against targets
- Interact with Engineering to ensure rapid reporting and resolution of equipment issues
- Liaise with Supply Chain for Inventory issues and shipments
- Support optimisation of workload/Capacity vs. Demand
- Ensure KPI dashboards are populated and used to drive performance
- Ensures work environment is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure Production Paperwork is correctly handled
- Follow Quality control procedures and highlight any issues
- Support quality improvement initiatives
- Accurately record and update the ERP system, when implemented
- Ensure correct maintenance procedures are followed
- Deliver work and services that are of the highest possible standard

Location
- The role is based at our HQ and Manufacturing facility in Ipswich
Hours
- The site operates a twoshift rotational model (06:00 14:00 & 14:00 22:00)
Salary
The Salary for the role will be market competitive and dependant on experience with 5% pension contribution and a progressive bonus opportunity (up to 20% in 2024)
