Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Fitter to join our Clients team.

As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various components and structures.

Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the finished products.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Measure, cut, shape, and fit materials according to specifications
Assemble and install components using hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery
Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet industry standards
Repair or replace damaged components as needed
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:

Time served Plant Mechanic
Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
Strong knowledge of different materials and their properties
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to use hand tools, welding equipment, and other machinery effectively
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
